How are the items posted?

We send all of our s-mash-ing gifts via our Royal Mail courier pals.

For large, or special deliveries we use our partners MyHermes, DPD or UPS. You can choose which option is best for you during check out.

How long will it take to receive my items?

There is a 1-2 business day processing and creations time on all orders. This is due to the personalised nature of the item, each parcel is lovingly created and carefully packaged. We don’t want any ugly gifts going out! Personalised art, books and fabrics may take an additional 2-4 business days due to the large size of the printing and individual design of each order. We work very hard to dispatch most orders either the same or next day after ordering, but during times of high demand (such as sale time or spud-cial occasions) the dispatch time can be 1-3 business days. There will normally be a warning on our website if this is the case. The delivery time is dependent on which postage option you select. We have three options available. Priority delivery has prioritised processing and delivery, and should arrive within 1-3 business days from dispatch. Standard postage and handling within 3-5 working days from dispatch. Please remember there is no postage available on Sundays and very limited deliveries on Saturdays. Next-day orders need to be placed before 1pm, Monday-Friday to ensure delivery the following business day. Note: Next-day orders placed between Friday afternoon and Sunday are dispatched on Monday with delivery guaranteed by Tuesday.

What is the difference between the billing address and shipping address?

The billing address is your personal address, this normally needs to match the credit card you are using to purchase your s-mash-ing gift. The shipping address is the address you want the glorious parcel to be sent to. For example, this is the address of your friend, family, co-worker who will receive the present.

Where do you post your items to?

We currently post within to the entire United Kingdom and to almost all of Europe! You can select your desired country during check out.

How much is international postage?

This varies depending on the delivery country, postage rates start at £6.99 with delivery time between 3-7 business days via courier. All orders are dispatched from the UK. The exact postage cost will be displayed during the check out process on our website.

How will I know when the gift is delivered?

When your new best-spud has been dispatched you will receive an email from our courier pals. This will include all the tracking information and an estimated delivery time. If you do not receive this please let us know and we’ll send you the details and throw potatoes at our courier in your honour.

Sometimes for smaller items such as books and cards, you may only receive a delivery confirmation rather than itemised, live tracking.

What if my gift never arrives?

Oh no! A lost and lonesome parcel, this is our greatest fear. If this has happened please email us ( and we will look into it for you. Please keep in mind that postage delays are outside our control, but we will always help you! Our couriers will make three attempts to deliver your potato parcel. Failing this they may leave the parcel in a safe spot or with a neighbour. If this is not possible the potato gift will be returned to sender and there will be an additional dispatch fee to have it sent out again. Royal Mail orders will be sent back to a depot where you or the receiver can collect the item from.

What if I don’t know my friend’s address?

Try having your parcel mailed to their workplace or their family home instead. Otherwise you can have the gift mailed to yourself and you can gift it in person and see their reaction! If you are unsure about the receiver’s postcode we can always help you with this, simply leave a note on your order or send us an email.

Can I cancel or refund my order?

Due to the personalised and/or perishable nature of the items on our website, once orders are placed we are unable to refund or cancel your order.

Can I change the delivery address or message?

Once an item has been dispatched we cannot change or alter the delivery address. Unfortunately, it’s your responsibility to ensure the details are correct (booo). If they are wrong we cannot guarantee delivery! If a mistake has been made please email us as soon as possible and we will try our best to remedy the issue for you and work our potato magic.

How much is postage within the UK?

Luckily for you, our best-spud, standard delivery (3-5 business days from dispatch) within the UK is completely free if your order totals more than £15! That's right, free! £0!

If your order is under £15, standard delivery is £1.99
Priority postage (1-3 business days from dispatch) is £4.99
Next business day delivery is £6.99

Gift or embarrassing packaging is £2.99 extra

What is your embarrassing and/or gift packaging?

Oh boy, do we like this question. Depending on how close you are to the lucky recipient, you can choose to add either lovely and a-peel-ing gift packaging or mortifying, yet hilarious embarrassing packaging.

Both options can be choosen when picking your postage type at checkout (just scroll through the options) for £2.99, and can be added to any item.
